I am interested in Team-teaching between nativ and non native english speaking teachers in Korea.
Since speaking English is focused on the Education Nowdays, the public schools are having team teaching programs with native teachers and Korean teachers a lot here and there . However, at school, It seems there are some misconceptions going on how and what to teach effectively between both Korean and Native teachers due to a variety of their sorrounding and environmental problems . I would like to know how has been organaized so far and find out how to improve students' speaking skills by teaching Korea from now on.
I've had some thoughts on this lately: http://isthereabloginthistext.blogspot.com/2011/04/word-and-world.html.
답글삭제hey,
답글삭제This is clearly an area of focus for a lot of public school teachers in Korea as well as a lot of EPIK teachers and those not in that program but hired part-time to work with Korean teachers in the classroom.
at this point in time, it's important for you to go out into a lot of reading on the topic. And this is a beginning point. If you have already made some decisions about what area of the topic of non-native English teachers working with native English teachers in the Korean classroom you're interested in focusing on, please narrow already in the literature search that you are going to do.
However, we clearly need to help you get to a specific part of how this works, and what you hope people will get from your research. What do you think they can learn from what you have done? That will help you direct the way that you design and implement a research project.
Please feel free to send me an e-mail and we can schedule a time outside of class to talk about and plan your project.
Cheers,
Eric
Robin..How are you?
